The Story behind the MI Sunrise shot:
This particular Michigan Sunrise Photo was snapped on the shores of Marquette, MI and almost left me without fingers. Yeah, it was that cold this day. If I remember correctly, it was probably -2F, and my gloves were just too big to capture the image, so off they came.
To be honest, this is one of my favorite photos I have ever captured and I hope you will like it too!

It’s mid summer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and adventure is lurking around every corner. You just need to be open to any corners coming your way.
This particular day, Kitchitikipi, was the corner of the Yoop that we had found.
Judging by the photo, all might look calm, but boy, let me tell you, it was a busy one. Luckily, I had just enough time to capture and uninterrupted view of one of Michigan’s top attractions.
