Whether or not you are from the Bay, there’s a good shot you haven’t been to Oakland’s Kaiser Rooftop Garden.
Situated on the 5th floor of Kaisers parking structure, this hidden gem shines bright like a diamond (Rihanna, yes).
Take a nap, snap some pictures, gander at the geese, grab a snack, it’s all here for the taking
Oakland’s Kaiser Rooftop Garden is one of the most tranquil areas of Oakland and a great place to sit and reflect.
Not only to find some respite, but admire the reflections of the variety of plant species, adjacent buildings, and wildlife.
A cafe complements the pond but the real reason for your visit is to escape the hustle and bustle of down below.
The Kaiser Center Garden is located at: 300 Lakeside Drive
Accessing this Oakland Garden is as easy as finding the staircase in the parking structure & walking up 5 flights or using the building elevator.
The garden is open daily from 9-5 and is free to the public.
I highly recommend getting here now before anymore high rises take a piece of the sunlight.
If you are visiting and want to do more than just see the rooftop garden, I don’t blame you.
